Dungeons & Migrations

Come watch Atlassian professionals play a game of Dungeons & Dragons live on stage

In a world inspired by the challenges of Cloud Migrations!

So... you are playing Dungeons & Dragons on stage?

Yes, and we are not the first! Since 2014 there has been a rise in “actual plays” where D&D fans started performing their games live, both virtually and at events. Since then, giants like Critical Role, The Adventure Zone and Dimension 20 have sold out stadiums of fans thrilled to watch them play.

Why do so many people attend these shows?

Because of the joy of watching a story come to life! D&D is spontaneous. It is an improv game where the players bounce off each other and shape the story. There is something exciting about witnessing an unpredictable event unfold before you.

And it is especially great if the players know how to make each other laugh!

Our Team of Hooligans

For Team ’26 we have assembled a crack team of hooligans to entertain YOU. These Atlassian Champions are loosening their ties and preparing for adventure.

What does this have to do with Atlassian?

Yes, Dungeons & Dragons is normally in a world of swords and sorcery, but it need not be.

We made our own world grounded in the ethos of Atlassian tools and inspired by Cloud Migrations.

Our game is set 200 years in the future. Our players are the crew of a space freighter that is undergoing a massive data migration while flying through space.

Sound familiar? Well, that’s the idea! The story is fictional, but the challenges the crew faces will remind you of real struggles.

Don't worry, we got you. Here are some answers for your questions.

Our adventure will take place 200 years in the future. It is “hard sci-fi,” which means yes to space travel in the solar system, but no to light-speed. Basically, it is grounded in realism.

Helium has run low on earth and it is needed for medical equipment and other important industries, so Earth (and specifically Tabellerius Corp) has begun mining Jupiter and shipping helium back.
